40th Wedding Anniversary

 

 

 

 

April 7 we celebrated Mom and Dad's 40th anniversary with a family get-together at the elementary school with just our immediate family. Nothing fancy--we ordered Jet's pizza and brought desserts, fruit, pop, etc. We cleaned up and got started with b-ball games, volleyball games, and rope swinging, a colored egg hunt, parachute flapping and pandemonium-in-the-storage-closet for the kids. The competition was fierce--both on the ball court and in the storage closet.

Made for the Schellings

 

 

Here's our new van. It was made for us and our long rides to Iowa. The captain chairs swivel around (and lock in place) backwards and there's a table to put between them and the back seat. Sweet. We can't wait to try it out.
