Gramps (1920-2012)

My Grandpa Engelsma passed away this morning.  He would have been 92 on Nov. 30.

Mya on vacation

 

We spent the 4th of July at Cabins in central IA.  It was 100 degrees that whole week.  Mya mostly sat in dirt and ate anything but food.  Good thing she's addicted to her bottle so she stay hydrated.

 

There she goes!

Mya's walking!  She's eleven months.  Not the earliest for our kids, but she's a lot more careful and precise about it than Ethan ever was.

 

Actually, he still isn't so precise.  He was pushing Mya in her little car tonight and decided to send her down the driveway on her own.  The car hit the woodchip pile, and the car tipped and skidded to a halt on her face.  I heard the wail and came running just as the neighbor scooped her up (he was mowing his grass...) and brought her to me.  A bit of road rash, but nothing too drastic.  Poor baby.
