Camping in Ludington

Here are a few shots from our camping trip to Ludington State Park last week. We camped with most of my aunts and uncles and cousins. Grand time!

 

 

 

 

Spelling...

We've had an abundance of cucumbers, so we've turned many into pickles. These are a bit big to use so Alana set up a table at the end of the driveway and made these signs so people could stop and pick some up. Gotta love inventive spelling! (If one doesn't look right, just try another spelling...!)

Date day

Last week John and I took a day without the kids and spent it in Holland, MI. After I dumped a whole plate full of nachos in my lap (in the van) and went to Kohl's to replace the stained clothes, we had a great time at the beach, going out for dinner and strolling downtown Holland.

 

Got swimmer's hair?

Used this on Alana's hair after two weeks of swimming lessons and lots of time in pools. You should have seen the grime that flowed out with the rinse water! You can buy these packets at Sally's Beauty Supply. Leaves her hair nice and soft as it strips all the mineral and build-up off. Definitely recommended for blonde hair that gets green or any hair that just feels ick after swimming.
